Our minister conducts Weddings and provides marriage preparation for couples who are thinking of getting married in church.

 

Couples wishing to marry at Walton Methodist Church would normally have to live in the local registration district. At Walton Methodist Church, as well as the ceremony, we are lucky to have an area of council land next to us which is perfect for post-marriage photos under the beautiful birch trees.

At Walton Methodist our motto is “All Are Welcome” and we endeavour to live this out in practice as well. In 2022 we voted to have our Church registered as a venue for Same-Sex Marriage services.
